Robert Quinn, founding director of the Scholars at Risk Network, will speak on "Protecting Freedom of Ideas Around the Globe" at 7 p.m. today at the University of the Ozarks' Walton Fine Arts Center in Clarksville. The lecture is free and open to the public. The Scholars at Risk Network is a New York-based network of colleges that promotes academic freedom and defends the human rights of scholars. Quinn is an adjunct professor of law at Fordham University School of Law. He is the former executive director of the Institute of International Education's Scholar Rescue Fund.
