Dr. Felix Kaputu is a Congolese scholar specializing in African and Comparative Literature. He will speak at Rollins College on March 17-19, 2010, as part of the SAR Speaker Series. He will give a public lecture entitled "Academic Freedom in Sub-Saharan Africa" on the 18th at 7pm in Bush Auditorium at Rollins College. The lecture and visit are sponsored by an International Development Grant, the African and African American Studies Program and the Departments of Anthropology, History and Religion.
