The Scuola Normale opens its doors to the scholar who is the symbol of the Kurds

First of all a woman, then a Kurdish woman and, moreover, so cultured as to be a university researcher. Three features that put Delal Aydin at the center of the viewfinder. Three elements that opened the doors of the Normale di Pisa to her thanks to the “Scholars at Risk”, an international network of universities that protects academics in danger of life or whose work is compromised by the violation of human rights. Delal has been in Italy for a few days thanks to a study and research assignment conferred on her by the High School for the class of Political and Social Sciences in the Florence branch. The research grant is funded by the Amici della Scuola Normale and the Tuscany Region. The field of study is that of Kurdish youth movements in the 1990s. That is to say the research that has put his own life at risk.
