Dr. Ahmadreza Djalali remains at imminent risk of execution

Posted May 25, 2022

Iranian authorities have apparently postponed the execution of Dr. Ahmadreza Djalali; however, he remains at imminent risk of execution. Earlier this month, Iranian authorities stated that they were planning to execute Dr. Djalali by May 21. Yesterday, the spokesperson of Iran’s judiciary, Massoud Setayeshi, said Dr. Djalali will be hanged once the review procedure of his case has been completed. Dr. Djalali’s wife fears that Iranian authorities will execute Dr. Djalali without warning at any minute.

Dr. Djalali and his family have been living a nightmare for the past six years. His life must be saved. He must be released.
