Call for Applications: Directors & Hosts of Regional Coalitions

Scholars at Risk (SAR) invites motivated and qualified individuals and institutions to apply for Regional Director and Host Institution roles that will develop, lead, and support coalitions that organize and execute academic freedom promotion and advocacy activities in discrete geographic regions.

These regional coalitions will build community and solidarity around a unifying cause, design and lead responsive and proactive advocacy efforts, and link up with other regional and international groups, networks, and institutions in ways that bolster a stronger global movement to safeguard academic freedom.

Africa

SAR, in collaboration with regional colleagues, is seeking a Regional Director and Host Institution that will develop, lead, and support a regional coalition that conducts activities aimed at promoting and strengthening academic freedom in Africa. Coalition for Academic Freedom in the Americas (CAFA)

CAFA, in partnership with SAR, has issued the below call-for-applications (in English and in Spanish) for a Regional Director and Host Institution that will lead the growth and development of CAFA’s membership and activities aimed at promoting and strengthening academic freedom in the Americas.
