A representative from the SAR Norway section will attend a multidisciplinary workshop aimed at finding, within a limited amount of time, a collective response to the challenge: How can we improve the hosting of people seeking refuge?
The workshop is designed as a gathering point for collaborative work among Catalan public universities, and relevant agents form the Catalan, Spanish, and European university system. Likewise, it features the active participation of government administration, public institutions, third-sector organizations, social movements, and people linked to migration, asylum, and refuge.
The meeting has the following objectives:
- To pursue the role of the public university as a key agent in the protection of the rights of migrants and refugees.
- To expand and consolidate the network of social agents to foster social positioning.
- To draw strategic guidelines and concrete proposals to improve the existing hosting approaches.
