SAR Speaker Series: University of Arkansas

This International Education Week, the University of Arkansas Scholars at Risk (SAR) committee will host a lecture entitled “The Power of Positivism (Turning Bad Situations for the Best).”

This event, the third of its kind since 2015, will be delivered by a SAR Scholar of International Relations and journalist from Zimbabwe. This scholar worked for more than 15 years as a journalist in Zimbabwe but was forced to leave after she was tortured and her life was threatened. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Justice, Peace Building, and Conflict Resolution.
