PAUSE Program International Meeting
Thursday, Nov 09 2017 12:00 am
The Programme national d’aide à l’Accueil en Urgence des Scientifiques en Exil (PAUSE) will host a day-long event, bringing together speakers and panelists to discuss the importance of academic freedom for researchers within the sciences.
Founded on January 16, 2017, PAUSE helps fund higher education institutions and public research organizations planning to host at-risk scientists threatened due to their research and academic expression.
Rose Anderson, Scholars at Risk’s Director of Protection Services, will participate in a roundtable discussion on hosting threatened academics abroad with members of other leading organizations, the Council for At-Risk Academics and the Scholar Rescue Fund. See the full event program here.
