This event will examine the threats to academic freedom as well as the networks of solidarity between researchers that are developing to face them. This event offers a comparative vision of Turkish, French and Swiss perspectives on academic freedom.

The debate will be followed by a presentation of Scholars at risk and solidarity networks between researchers with the participation of Olivier Vincent , scientific assistant at the Department of International Relations and Partnerships at the University of Geneva and Johanna Huber , assistant doctoral student at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

This event is organized in partnership with the Scholars @ Risk network and the Institute for the Study of Citizenship of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Geneva.
