Anna Krainc is the Membership and University Relations Intern for Scholars at Risk and works to further SAR’s outreach efforts by conducting research on the higher education landscape in Spain. Alongside the internship, Anna is completing her third year teaching English and leading Model United Nations at a high school in Madrid. Prior to her work with SAR, she volunteered as an English teacher and program assistant at Za’atar NGO, a community center and women’s shelter for refugees living in Athens. She has also completed an Education and Development Internship with Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio in Minneapolis, MN. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, Spanish, and Women’s and Gender Studies from St. Olaf College in Minnesota.
