Dona Lee Kelly

As Director of Development for the Scholars at Risk Network, Dona Lee is responsible for strengthening all areas of SAR’s development department and fundraising efforts including individual and institutional giving, and donor relations and communications. Dona Lee brings over 20 years of non-profit management experience to SAR and was previously Director of Development for the National Academy Museum & School, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Primary Stages, and Director of Campaign and Major Gifts for The MacDowell Colony. Prior to her years in management, Dona Lee was a performer and choreographer, and taught for 15 years for the Stella Adler Conservatory and New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and also taught with Stella Adler for her Character Class. Dona Lee studied aesthetics and educational movement at Chelsea College in England, received a B.S. from West Chester University, PA, and a M.F.A. in performing arts management from Brooklyn College.  She currently serves on the Brooklyn College M.F.A. Managers Alumni Board.
