Prachi Patel

As Communications Officer, Prachi is responsible for cultivating effective internal and external communications for SAR. This includes print and electronic publications, website content and social media, general outreach to support the network and SAR programming, and media relations.

Prior to joining SAR, Prachi was a migration communications consultant and Princeton in Asia fellow for the International Water Management Institute headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her background is also in participatory photography and nonprofit communications with the Alliance for Refugee Youth Support and Education in Pittsburgh. Prachi holds a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
