Sarah Bernstein

Sarah is the Development Officer, Institutional Giving & Grants Management at Scholars at Risk. She supports SAR’s fundraising efforts by building relationships with institutional and individual funders and by creating impact reports and other materials that highlight the outcomes of SAR’s work. Prior to joining SAR, Sarah was Director of Development at Gingold Theatrical Group. She has also worked extensively as an educator, teaching writing to middle, high school, and college students around the world. Sarah holds a BA from Brown University and an MFA from Hunter College. Her own writing has appeared in The New Yorker and The New York Times.
