Meet Rahim Surkhi, Scholar at Risk

The Human Rights Research and Education Centre at the University of Ottawa organized a presentation with Dr. Rahim Surkhi on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Surkhi is a scholar of applied linguistics and holds a Ph.D. from Salahaddin University-Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan), specializing in Kurdish linguistics. He is currently hosted by the Institute of Languages and Official Bilingualism (ILOB) at uOttawa and Carleton University’s School of Linguistics and Language Studies. This event is one of the activities organized as part of the Scholars at Risk uOttawa Program.
