Twelve universities and research institutions in Italy that are members of the network Scholars at Risk signed a petition on 19th March in support of Patrick George Zaki, the Egyptian student enrolled in a Master’s programme at the University of Bologna, currently detained in Egypt. A strong message of solidarity has thus been launched to Patrick George Zaki and his family, calling on the Egyptian authorities for his unconditional release.
