In 2019, our first year of activity, SAR Italy grew from 14 to 20 members. We had 3 national assemblies and 3 steering committees and set up three working groups. We have also formed groups within our institutions and created synergies with local and regional organizations. The ground work was laid to host at least 4 at-risk scholars in 2020 and we learned more about how to host through an international workshop organised at the University of Trento. Ester Gallo ran a Student Advocacy Seminar at the University of Trento with the support of Adam Braver and Clare Robinson, and students advocated for Amaya Eva Coppens. These are just some of the highlights from our 2019 Annual Report which you can download.
