Start a Student Advocacy Seminar on your campus!

SAR invites expressions of interest from faculty and institutions interested in holding a Student Advocacy Seminar on campus.

Through these seminars, SAR offers opportunities for students to develop hands-on research, advocacy, and leadership skills while investigating attacks on higher education communities or alleged cases of unjust restriction, prosecution, or imprisonment of scholars or students. Faculty arrange and supervise a small group seminar, independent study, or internship workshop for students at their institution. Students work, with SAR guidance, to raise awareness of cases or incidents including, as appropriate, undertaking informational outreach to local, national and intergovernmental authorities and others capable of intervening positively.
